Hello Being One Community,
I cannot believe how fast time flies! This month we celebrate our One Year Anniversary as the Being One Center!!!! On November 1st, 2014 we held our Open House event at the Fox Chase location. Many of you were kind enough to join in the excitement. It is hard to believe a full year has passed so quickly since then we now have a space to call our own! As I sit here to write this month’s Newsletter and reflect on all that has happened I am in awe of how blessed we have been as a Community and a Spiritual Center.
It has been an incredible journey to get to this point. In 2013 I started doing Free Thursday Meetups at Rina’s Rocks in Hatboro because I not only wanted to learn as much as I could about spirituality, but I also wanted to make it available to everyone. Free Thursday nights have become a weekly staple in our calendar and for me it is a beautiful reminder of where this all started.
We were blessed in September of 2014 to meet Igor a beautiful spiritual being that offered us the use of his his Fox Chase Senior Day Care Center with arms wide open. We used the space to give our first 12 week course on Spiritualism, Sunday Services and many other evening events.
In March another blessing came to us in the form of Sam Shelly who let us take over the lease for his Don’t Dwell Sanctuary and transform it in to our our current Being One Center location. He was also kind enough to donate all the beautiful furnishings!
With 7 months under our belt at this new location we have continued to grow due to your support, and I can only see us growing bigger! Maybe on our next anniversary I will be writing the newsletter from our Open Community Retreat Center ;-). Let’s manifest!!!
As you all know, everyone at the Being One Center is a volunteer. Our community members are the ones who keep us going! We love seeing your smiles and your eagerness to learn and teach! We are so grateful to each and every one of you every time you walk through our doors. We can only hope the Being One Center means as much to you as your love and smiles mean to us!
In honor of our anniversary, we would like to hear from you! What does the Being One Center mean to you? Do you have a memorable experience that you would like to share with our community? Is there anything you would like us to improve upon? Anything new you would like us to offer? Now is the time to let us know!

Many of you have repeatedly expressed your love for what we do and the variety of classes and workshops we bring to the center. You have told us that you wish we had some kind of membership program.
In response to your suggestions we initiated a small trial over the past six months with a couple of community members to test the program. I am proud to say every member that purchased the membership had nothing but good things to say!
We did not feel comfortable opening this up to the larger community until we had a proven track record of classes/lectures/meditations and events that would interest everyone and we knew it would be worth the investment of a monthly membership. I personally have made it my job to make sure we provided quality events every day that enrich us as spiritual and whole beings no matter the interest.
To celebrate our anniversary we are proud to say we are ready to expand this program to the whole community.
